It has been a struggle getting this movie up onto the web. When you are basically every position in the movie, from actor to editor to director, you get overwhelmed with things to do. I spent allot of time to get this on the web. I had to sacrifice some quality in the process of putting the video up. But at this point I just want to be done with the school project.

The sequel to the trilogy is already in pre-production. I can already tell you that the second movie will be 100X better. Now that I have experience on how to make a movie as big as this, I’ll be more organized and experienced for the next two.

The only things I can tell you about the sequel, other than it having better video quality, is it will be a non-linear story line and might have a narrator. Can’t wait to show the sequel!!

This is a commercial I did for my friend’s final in Econ. class. He asked me to help him the day before the final was due. But I helped him out anyway and made the commercial. I shot and edited the video in one day. This is what we came up with. Although it may not be my finest work, for the time spent on it (1 hours filming 2 1/2 hours editing) I’m really proud of how it turned out and I hope you like it.

I had to put something together. I’ve done so much filming and i had nothing to show for it. So I put together a potential clip for my movie Killer Squids. It’s due to debut on May 26th, so be ready!

Just two weeks ago we started filming for CSI: Concord (C-SIC). And we just recently started editing. This is a practice shot just to get a feel for how we are going to edit the movie. We have a loooong way to go but it is looking great so far;  I can’t wait to see the finished product. Hopefully we will be able to make you guys a little trailer before production finishes.

This video was done in 15 min. I think this was the fastest i ever shot and edited a video. For such a short period of time I’m pretty proud of myself. See the business plan here: http://www.box.net/shared/klpomi1xnx

I had an internship at Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Autority(CCCSWA). They’re a governmental agency that manages the solid waste programs for Danville, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Walnut Creek and portions of unincorporated Contra Costa County. There aim is to inform residents, businesses and schools about recycling and waste reduction and it was our job to help them with that. Our small group of three, including Pauline Santos and Arturo Castaneda, were set on the task of creating an entire media campaign for elementary school students and their parents; including an animated video a reusable grocery bag, door hanger, and a brochure. The end product was very satisfying and I am proud of our end result.

We shot this video without any sound. Then we scored the whole thing from scratch using garage band. This was one of my first good videos that I had created.

I was really deferred from this project mainly because nobody was really helping me film this documentary. I got past that, but I think what I liked the least was being limited to only using Movie Maker to edit this video. It came out a lot better than I expected.

We had to write the lyrics to a song, make music for the song, design and edit a music video for the song, then preform it live in front of our peers. I wasn’t to thrilled about this project, but it was well worth it.
