Photography
I have taken an interest in photography ever since I was little. Since then I have come a long way, from taking a picture of the floor to captivating emotions from people’s expressions. I have become confidant with my photography skills but I’m always ready to learn new things, because you can never know everything about technology.
There is a big difference between a point and shoot camera and a professional camera such as a Nikon d90. As a photographer you can’t just point the camera at something and press down on the button. You need to work in the angle of the subject; the angle of you the lighting; the persons emotion and many more things. If you just point and click you might get what you want in your picture but you want be able to capture the beauty of that moment, unless you happen to be very lucky.

Photoshop
Ever since I was little I used Photoshop. When I first started using it, I was just messing around seeing how much I could mess up a picture. But as years progressed I took an interest in the program and began to teach myself what Photoshop could really do. There are not that many things that I can’t do with Photoshop. I’m currently using CS4 and I’m hoping to upgrade to CS5 soon. I need to be up-to-date if I want to compete with other experienced graphic designers. That is ultimately what I want to become, a graphic designer.
