It has been a struggle getting this movie up onto the web. When you are basically every position in the movie, from actor to editor to director, you get overwhelmed with things to do. I spent allot of time to get this on the web. I had to sacrifice some quality in the process of putting the video up. But at this point I just want to be done with the school project.

The sequel to the trilogy is already in pre-production. I can already tell you that the second movie will be 100X better. Now that I have experience on how to make a movie as big as this, I’ll be more organized and experienced for the next two.

The only things I can tell you about the sequel, other than it having better video quality, is it will be a non-linear story line and might have a narrator. Can’t wait to show the sequel!!

Octologic Media

I finally finished my logo for Otologic Media. I still have some revisions to make, but as of now I have a presentable and professional logo. I’m still working on the official site for the business.

So I recently posted the latest site that I’ve done, but It doesn’t really show any improvement. It just looks like a plain old site. So I thought I would show a shot of how it used to look before I came in and edited it. I was able to find the old flashing light link, but the BRIGHT lime green site is completely deleted, but just by looking at the flashing lights in the “before” picture above pretty much says it all.

Thomas Mapfumo

My most recent project is refining this website for the musician Thomas Mapfumo. I changed it from a piercing lime green background with flashing stars and walking lions to a more relaxed earthy look. This is one of my first websites that I’ve had to revise. Hopefully this project will be my starting point in doing future web projects.

Killer Squids

The movie is due late June 2011. It was previously planned to be finished already, but due to school work; crew; and jobs I had to postpone the debut.  The movie looks good so far. I can’t wait till it is all done and I can show it off. Once I post it, my goal is to reach 50,000 views on Vimeo. So when you see it on the internet, which will hopefully be soon, tell all your friends to watch it.

This is a commercial I did for my friend’s final in Econ. class. He asked me to help him the day before the final was due. But I helped him out anyway and made the commercial. I shot and edited the video in one day. This is what we came up with. Although it may not be my finest work, for the time spent on it (1 hours filming 2 1/2 hours editing) I’m really proud of how it turned out and I hope you like it.

The Bro Page

This is the Bro page. The Bros of Mt. Diablo…and that guy from crew, Brometheus. This page is going to be featured in the 2011 Mt. Diablo yearbook. One entire page will be devoted to the BRO-ther-hood, in color of course. Most of this was done in the last 4 days before it was due. So given the time constraint, this is an amazing Bro page and is no doubtably going to be the best page in the yearbook.

I had to put something together. I’ve done so much filming and i had nothing to show for it. So I put together a potential clip for my movie Killer Squids. It’s due to debut on May 26th, so be ready!

Just trying out some techniques on how to mask glass. Getting pretty good at it. I’m able to keep all the highlights on the glass. Just wanted to make sure I was capable of masking something with glass in it and keep all the important stuff.

Killer Squids is in production, and it is looking amazing so far. I can’t wait till this short film is over. We already have paparazzi on location, I’m liking the paparazzi. Soon we will have enough footage to make a trailer, so don’t worry.
